St Albans /sənt ˈɔːlbənz/, /seɪn ... / is a city in Hertfordshire, England, and the major urban area in the City and District of St Albans. It lies east of Hemel Hempstead and west of Hatfield, about 20 miles (32 km) north-northwest of central London, 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Welwyn Garden City and 11 miles (18 km) south-southeast of Luton. Naughts and Crosses Bar

From the team that brought you Suckerpunch, an exciting new bar in St Albans... Take yourself back to the 1920's and enjoy classic cocktails, draught beer and a selection of wines and champagne in a refined, Great Gatsby inspired setting. Enjoy our highly attentive table service, as well as our heated garden.

I held my engagement party at Naughts and Crosses in St Albans and can honestly say it was the easiest experience. We had private hire of the venue on a saturday (which is very rare to find) and was literally perfect for what we needed it for. Alex and Travis were so accommodating and were able to support all our needs. Alex was so passionate about his bar (which was the main reason we chose it) and no ask was too much. We were able to provide our own food and the cocktails made at Naughts and Crosses were incredible. Everyone mentioned that the espresso martinis were the best they had tasted. The staff were really friendly and allowed my fiance and i to come in early and set up. It was the perfect place for up to 150 people, absolutely loved the decor inside and the little touches provided by Alex and team (a variety of shots and prosecco and beer on arrival). The outside area is beautiful and i wished the weather was better to enjoy it more. I would recommend this venue for small functions and generally for a really good cocktail.

What a great find! Loved the atmosphere we wanted somewhere a bit more sophisticated and catered for an older crowd and this is what we got. The cocktails are amazing, the staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive. The music was excellent with all genres playing. We liked the fact that you pre book to get seats. Will definitely be back!

This is super nice beer tap located right in the centre of St Albans. The range of craft beers is excellent and the pizza really good too. Nice staff members and a good atmosphere inside. The beer garden overlooking the cathedral is also great, especially for COVID-safe meet ups.

Reviewed By katherineb849 - St. Albans, United Kingdom

We had a fantastic Burns Night. 3 courses for £ 18.95. Cullen skink( a smoked haddock broth) and one of their legendary scotch eggs to start, Haggis, neeps and tatties for main with sticky toffee pudding. As good as any of the best restaurants in town. A good selection of well kept beer and small but well chosen wine list.
