Ella rock roughly takes you 1.5 hours to climb. If you're fit and healthy it can be climbed in a shorter time. It really is a beautiful hike, taking you through long grass, bridges, beautiful forests. There are many routes to hike, and you can get guides who will take you as well. The views once you reach the top are excellent. Definitely a must do when you reach Ella!

One of the hot spot within Horton Plains National Park (UNESCO World Heritage) with entrance fee of LKR3,850 per person. Breathtaking views and it is advisable to reach early before 9am in order to enjoy the mountainous view. Warm clothing, packed breakfast, good walking shoes and drinking water are recommended. Great hiking place for 4-5 hours. A must for nature lovers!

Really amazing for a hiking up to more then 3 km approximately then from the top of the hill can see the full town view and also a clear view of Pedro mountain the highest mountain in SriLanka

Incredible place of water making a beautiful blow and then going up through probably a hole in the rocks near shore. I and my husband are feeling so lucky due to a mysterious thing happened to two of us there about 26yrs ago. Must watch place if you are in the area Needs a refurbishment of the roads leading to this for sure
