We saw the autumn colors first hand while hiking on their winding trails. In the past we went there for cross country try skiing, so it was fun to see the trails without the snow. Nice park building but we stayed outside due to pandemic.

We rode 20 miles, 10 out 10 back. Lots of shade. Not to difficult, no big inclines. Well maintained, no trash. A really nice way to start the day.

Vanburen Trail is paved from Maple St in South Haven to the VanBuren State Park which has swimming camping etc. That length of the trail is paved for anything non motorized. The trail also splits, in a non paved section and goes to Hartford Michigan

Fully paved trail. You do have to cross blue star hwy twice... so if you are with young families - be sure to have an adult in the front of your group.
