The picturesque wooden church of S:t Maria, built in 1703, is home to the parish of Houtskar. Take a moment to enjoy the calm inside the church, then take a stroll through the graveyard where generations of Houtskar's past lay buried. Please pay attention and respect the functions (funerals, christenings..) taking place in the church. No bikes allowed.
