Southsea Skatepark

Southsea Skatepark is arguably the oldest skatepark in the World, with the current 'rink' area dating back to a roller rink that was first built back in the 1950s. The skatepark was remodelled in the 1970s with concrete (bowls, snakerun, etc) and then modified again in 1990 with a new bowl replacing the old reservoir. In the mid to late 90s the rink area was built on with new ledges, banks, rails.

An indoor batting cage with ball tracking technology so its like playing in a real stadium! Step into the cage and hit that ball as hard as you can, then take a look at the monitors and you'll see where your ball would have gone in a real stadium. I went with my 15year old son, it was a great thing to do, we had great fun together, had a drink at the bar , played table football and tried to hit a baseball. A really fun evening that we will do again ????

What an absolutely fab place this is, been several times, there is so much to do, we went during the half term with the Halloween activities going on, how fantastic they were! Nice cafe to eat, (although be prepared to queue for a while at busy times) but worth it when you eventually get served. My son loves it there, he's 6, the farm is also fab.
