Had a beautiful crisp walk by this stunning, quite and well kept harbour. There are toilets in the small park & great range of local pubs. The boats bobbing around on the water with the sun setting behind is just so beautiful. We were lucky enough to see a seal and there are range of birds too. The tide was out and we managed to walk on the small stone beach which was great fun. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great views & a nice day out.

This harbour is used by a variety of craft from private cruisers and yachts to fishing boats. Some are moored on the river side pontoons but most are located at the yacht club or marina further up the river towards Arundel. The Marina is accessed from Wharf Road on the opposite side from the town centre. The harbour side has a selection of seaside shops for ice creams and fish and chips. The is also a small pleasure park towards to beach. The beach at low tide is extensive and brilliant for paddling. A common activity is dropping a hand line for crabbing from the promenade. Lovely old style seaside town
