We are a friendly, family run Equestrian Centre based in the New Forest, we offer hacking, lessons and walkouts for adults and children from the age of 5 years old. We cater for all abilities, from beginners to the very advanced rider. Our friendly staff will provide you with help and guidance while showing you the fantastic scenery in the wide open forest. Our private and group lessons are held in our new outdoor arena with one of our qualified istructor. We also offer Jump lessons to our more advanced riders in our outdoor jumping paddock. We hold regular competitions as well as holiday pony club camps for children.
My 3 teenage children, my wife and I enjoyed a 1 hour hack through the beautiful forestland ably guided by Cassidy and Asher. The horses were all in amazing condition which added to the overall experience. Our experience from the time we arrived at Bagnum to the time we left was so enjoyable. The staff were very attentive and ensured all of the family knew exactly what we needed to do despite us all having some riding experience. The hack itself was very enjoyable with a mix of walking and trotting through tracks and on road. We felt totally reassured by our two guides throughout. Thank you Bagnum Equestrian Centre for such a great time. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Well marked trail with information boards that explain the history. I use a small section in and around Sutton Scotney regularly. Perfect in current climate. Highly recommend.

In this time of lockdown, Hemsted Forest is just the ideal place for taking your exercise and walking your dog at the same time. The paths are well marked and easily negotiated. And the forest is so big that it is very easy to maintain social distancing. Peaceful and not claustrophobic, it's just the place and for observing nature and filling your lungs with clean air.

Booked some hacking here, our experience level was not very high but the staff were all very nice and helpful and managed to organise something very fun and rewarding. The horses all seem to be very happy and in good shape, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It is possible to walk here from Amersham (you can cross the main road on a footpath to join Cherry Lane) although it would take some time.

Having returned to riding after over 30 years I was so impressed by Rosemary's kindness and encouragement and by the gentleness and patience of the wonderful horses. Whether having a lesson in the school or going on a hack (highly recommended - wonderful scenary) I felt confident and relaxed. A wonderful place to unwind with these gorgeous animals and friendly people.
