These are two separate islands. We first went to Tikling Island and was able to see a fisherman with his fresh catch of the day, enjoyed the caretakers' pet native pigs. Then our guide took us to Subic Beach ( the way he described it is that there are two Subic beaches, one more popular with tourists with stores and more cottages and the other one more private and secluded). I was lucky to visit both. Great beach for a dip and for relaxation (ice-cold beer in hand). Due to the red corals in the area that got mixed with the white sand, the beach gives a pinkish color to the delight of the islands' visitors.

Whaleshark Divers Center offers scuba diving services and PADI courses & program. We are all local professionals moreover we have foreign/local PADI instructors collaborating with us to pursue more a conservation campaign in the protection of our Gentle Giant Buddies: Whale sharks and the Manta rays.

I was born and raised in Legazpi City, an hour away from Donsol, Sorsogon where we'll be having the whaleshark encounter. Aside from having attended several seminars on whale shark interactions, I have swam with these gentle giants countless times and enjoyed it every single time! Because of this, I'd like other travelers to experience the same happiness and joy I felt interacting with these marine animals.
