Rippl-Ronai Museum

This is a very interesting Museum in the middle of the small town called Kaposvár. It has several exhibitions but by far my favorite was the fine arts exhibition featuring mainly Hungarian painters from the beginning of the 20th century. It is a shame that such raw talent is overlooked by the international art community that some of the painters of smaller countries represent. The exhibition is very interesting and recommended for the lovers of modern art. There are also some very interesting contemporary paintings hanged in the hall/entrance area but I feel that the space does not do good for them. A regular white room exhibition place would suit them much better.

Zselici Star Park

We visited this place this July, we booked Hotel Kardosfa for a long weekend with a coupon that contained a free ticket here. We wanted to take a night hike, but sadly in July there were none because of the coronavirus. So we reserved tickets in advance via email for a night sky presentation. It was also amazing, those guys really know a lot about stars, planets, history and myths, we really enjoyed it! I'm pretty sure we will visit this place at least one time!

The Baroque-style stable built in the courtyard of the Hunyady estate at Balatonszemes in the last quarter of the 18th century has been housing the exhibitions of the Post Museum since 1962. The new permanent exhibition accommodated in the former stable building entitled "From the stage-coach to the mail van" presents some fine exhibits of the vehicle collection of the Post Museum.
