Capel Clay

Booked a 2 hour painting session for 3 of us via Facebook. Choose our own pieces to paint from a well stocked range so you make the day as cheap or expense as you like. There are also many painted items around to help you with some inspiration. Owners are extremely welcoming and very helpful and gave loads of hints and tips. We had never done this before and loved it. Even if it's at the end of your stay, you can have your piece(s) posted to you once is been fired. Cannot wait for ours to arrive in the post.

We had a terrible week weather wise so wasnt sure we'd be able to climb... having two young children.. But Thursday was our window... Got to Pen y pas for 8. found some parking. £10 for the day. We walked up the miners track which was beautiful and a challenge.. walked down the pyg trail which wasnt as easy as id expected... unfortunately for us fresh snow plenty of ice put paid to us reaching the summit. Made it to approx 800m. But what we did achieve was walk a mountain in the snow with beautiful blue sky... We loved it...
