Lillies Sligo

Lillies Cocktail Bar, Sligo's No.1 Nightlife Experience. Home of the Pornstar Martini, Live Music and 1970's nostalgia in Sligo.

I went for there during a girls night out with my friends. All 8 of us (with very different tastes and standards) raved about the cocktails and staff. The atmosphere was so fun and carefree. I’d definitely try and work in a visit to your holiday itinerary if nearby. Lillie’s has a lovely cosy pub feel complete with dark wood and fairy lights. It has a novelty TV guide styled cocktails menu and staff that are efficient, pleasant, and witty. Love this place and would highly recommend

Shoot the Crows

During a recent hiking trip to Sligo I dropped in to Shoot the Crows for an evening. This was my local when I attended Sligo IT back in 2003, and it made me happy that this fantastic pub has retained all its charm. It was great to have a few lovely pints of Guinness in what I would consider one of the best pubs in the country. It's a pub full of character, and full of characters! The owner, Ronan, is still the same friendly, witty, interesting man he was 17 years ago, and made my wife and I feel very welcome. It filled me with absolute delight that the choice of music has stayed the same. Expect plenty of Tom Waits, Dave Van Ronk and Rory Gallagher! Pubs like this are few and far between... unfortunately in my opinion. If you're in Sligo do yourself a favour and give Shoot the Crows a visit, you won't be disappointed!

It is so pleasant to find such great atmosphere in an establishment which has successfully blended the old with the modern. The dining area is a series of little snugs opening up to a spacious unit at the back which gives a soothing atmosphere for drinking & dining. We were seated & greeted by a young waiter who explained that he was just a few weeks in the job. He was full of personality & represented the place with flair. Our waitress, Siobhan, was equally cheerful & dealt with any of our special requests efficiently & with ease. Our food arrived without undue delay & the quality & presentation was excellent. It was good value for money & we left after our meal as very satisfied customers who definitely will be back, next time we visit Sligo.
