Kuroshio Country Club is located approximately 15 km due east of Kochi “Ryoma” airport. A rental car or taxi can take you to the Kuroshio Club in approximately 25 minutes. I stayed at a nearby hotel called “Royal Hotel Tosa”, located 6 minutes driving distance from Kuroshio Country Club. The hotel is nice and reasonable in cost. Kuroshio Country Club is located on a plateau of a hill and it has one of the most spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean in front of the course. Kuroshio Country Club has one full 18-hole course called “Kuroshio Course out (1 to 9 holes) and Kuroshio Course in (10 to 18 holes). Also, they have “Taiheiyo (Pacific)” course (1 to 9 holes) and “Danryu (warm Current)” course (1 to 9 holes). The Kuroshio Country Club offers abundant vehicle parking spaces and as you enter the lobby, finely manicured green grass can be seen along with soft warm ocean breeze on your face. It made us feel anxious to get out there to play and the starting holes of Taiheiyo and Danryu courses allowed us to see the grand view of Pacific Ocean and it called to test our skills at this wonderful course. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Playing golf there was great and while you are visiting there, visit many historical locations of Sakamoto Ryoma who is one of the well-known historical figures in Kochi Prefecture.

Sky Bay Golf Club is a beauty. The views of the surrounding inlets and seaways make this one of the best clubs I have ever played from a purely aesthetic angle. Stunning. The course itself is difficult, with lots of ups and downs. The greens were just okay but the fairways and layout were very good. I would recommend this course to any golfer who wants a special course to linger in the memory.

Sky Hill Golf Club is located approximately 1 hour 30 minutes due South-West of Kochi “Ryoma” airport by car. In many instances, driving along the oceanfront will offer genuinely nice views of the coast. Once you arrive at the clubhouse, which is located on the hilltop, you will enter the building, and be greeted by warm, smiling faces at the registration desk. This course is quite interesting in that it contains many hills and allowed us to demonstrate our golfing skill … though I am relatively new to golf, it still afforded me an opportunity to practice playing in very steep downhill and uphill conditions. The course was not crowded when we were playing, which allowed us to take time and really enjoy the company we had and the course. In the evening, we did “Glamping” for the night. The location of glamping was very close to the Sky Hill Golf Club and this location was owned and managed by the same people who owned the Sky Hill Golf Club. The accommodations were great and gave us a choice of staying in an air-conditioned trailer or dome type of tent which accommodated 6 people easily. Do try this golf club and enjoy the glamping as well.
