December 30, 2021 Roseanne Arnett

Situated on Grand Cayman’s west shore, Seven Mile Beach actually now measures only 5.5 miles. But its gorgeous clear waters and coral sands still lure visitors from around the world. Beach bars, such as the Royal Palms, provide drinks and a lively atmosphere, and restaurants abound. Swim with friendly stingrays at Stingray City, shop Seven Mile Shops, snorkel and scuba in the enticing waters around Cemetery Reef. Visit nearby Cayman capital George Town and the fascinating Cayman Turtle Farm.

The four of us did a private 1/2 day with Willis for Stingray City and Starfish point, and snorkeling. From the booking to the end of our trip, the experience was great. We had Willis as our guide. We felt safe, the boat was clean, and he was fun and knowledgeable. There are many charters to choose from in Cayman, and I would do this one again in a second. Don't look anywhere else just book it!

I booked an excursion on FamilyTime for our day in Grand Cayman and was absolutely thrilled. Willis picked us up from our ship and took care of me, my husband and my two teenage boys for the day. The boys loved Willis and learned a lot from him. We swam with the stingrays, snorkelled and had lunch at Rum Point. Rum point was pricey for lunch but a fun place to eat. I highly recommend this company. I know people on our ship booked other excursions through the cruise and were very disappointed with the crowds. We had individual service all day, avoided the crowds and it was worth every penny.

The first day we had scheduled got pushed back a day because some cruise boat tour was late so they wouldn't have time to charge the Segways, not a big deal we shuffled some plans around to accommodate them. We showed up the next day and got ready to ride when a last minute dad and son showed up to join our ride. The son looked really young but i had assumed they checked his age. It turns out the kid was 10 years old. The kid crashed into my daughter at one point and ended up crashing his segway into the street. Had the guide not been there he would have been hit by a car. We also had a 10 minute break in the middle of our tour to accommodate the youngsters potty break. The segways were cool, but it is a treacherous journey to and from the beach on narrow sidewalks littered with pedestrians and cars zipping past just feet away. On the beach people are just trying to see the sunset and relax and you feel more intrusive than welcomed. I wouldn't do it again.

We look forward to see you next time were back!
