Boca Grandi

We stopped here along our island adventures and this beach is beautiful We took a long walk down this very secluded beach and found some great areas for swimming. There was one other person there. Locals have built little shanty huts to get out of the sun in This is a place you pack a lunch for and just spend the day on a quiet beautiful secluded beach. You can drive right up to the area we walked to There is a local bar there called tortugas that’s very charming if you’d like to stop there for drinks. It’s easy to find just go left instead of right when headed to baby beach

Grapefield Beach

We had read about some “secluded” beaches in Aruba and knew that this one was near Baby Beach and that we wouldn’t need 4 wheel drive to get to it so we checked it out. It is absolutely beautiful! There were 5-8 kite surfers there that we enjoyed watching as well as a few other people at the beach. We knew that there were very strong currents here so we didn’t get in the water, but we enjoyed walking this beach, exploring and finding some treasures along the way. There is a lot of great drift wood here, beautiful coral, and we even saw some huge, pretty fish right near the shore. We loved this beach, but were so heartbroken to see the amount of trash that went on for the entire length of the beach. I’ve never seen so much trash at a beach (that all seemed to come from the ocean). If it hadn’t been my last day and if I had a place to dispose of trash, I would have attempted to clean it up. I hope that some person or group does this and makes it as beautiful as it should be.
