Quite close to the centre of Sale, a good bike ride or a short drive, is this magnificent wetlands reserve. Leave enough time to do the complete circular walk down to the La Trobe Swing Bridge.

stunning park with lots of little tracks. Great playground for kids along with a BBQ area. Short stroll to Lake to feed the ducks. Great day out with my grandkids

Lake Gutheridge is at the township of Sale. It has a very good walking trail. There is also clean toilets available. You can find many perfect spots for a picnic. Lots of waterfowl and birds. Many flying foxes can be seen hanging in the trees.

Lake Guyatt is a small lake at the township of Sale. There is a good walking trail, all the way around. Also a wonderful bridge across the lake , allowing close up viewing of the water and many varieties of water fowl and birds on the water and in the trees
