Bordeaux Classique

We found this wine store while walking around the quaint town of Saint Emilion. Greg was so helpful in finding the specific wine we were looking for from Chateau de Pressac while also allowing us to try some other wines from the region. We ended up having a lovely time in his shop for over an hour and walked out with three lovely bottles of wine, two of which were over 30 years old!

Cave de la Grande Fontaine

My friend and I stopped at this shop to grab a bottle of wine and went on an amazing wine journey. Shop owner, Eliott, really took the time to make us feel welcomed. I mean, we are a couple of annoying Americans who speak very little French and he was very patient and accommodating. Now, for the wines! We had an amazing tasting and were introduced to some really fun, unique wines. I never wanted to buy more wine - sadly, we only walked away with 6 bottles. I can't wait to have more shipped to me! If in the Bordeaux region, go to Saint-Emilion and go to this shop! Trust us, it is worth the journey!!

The Wine Buff Experience enhances your visit to this amazing Unesco Heritage Site. Paddy O' Flynn, owner of The Wine Buff Experience, has resided in St Emilion for over 30 years, Paddy also owns his own vineyard in the region, and founded The Wine Buff®, Ireland's premium wine supplier. This is a fantastic wine shop in the centre of St Emillion. Paddy and Pilla are fantastic hosts and have an extremely well picked and rounded selection of wines for sale (and tasting). They give honest, straight forward (and jovial) appraisals of their wines which makes for a really enjoyable experience. It’s great to chat with them through their understanding of the region and their expert knowledge of the production of wine. Paddy took me and my brother In law on a visit to his vineyard which was a once in a lifetime experience! Pilla even had a box of Lego for my son to play with whilst we had a tasting! Congratulations Paddy and Pilla on your success with the Wine Buff which again I cannot recommend highly enough to anyone! Thank you and speak soon, Sláinte, Jack.
