Although situated on a flat plain with few indigenous trees, Regina boasts some of western Canada's most innovative urban landscaping, with plentiful green spaces, hiking and biking paths, playgrounds, oak-lined streets and parks throughout the city. The popular Wascana Lake plays host to summer boaters and winter skating. Regina is also home to numerous cultural and educational institutions, including museums, galleries, theaters and Canada's RCMP Training Academy Grounds.

Now open to visitors, this was once home to lieutenant-governors of Canada's Northwest Territories.
There is not very many historic buildings in Regina, but Government House is definitely one of them. The building was restored and preserved as it was 1900s. They have afternoon Victorian tea party once a month, which is worth visiting. However you need to register for it in advance.

We arrived in time for the 10am tour. No backpacks are allowed and there is security scanning before proceeding. Our tour guide, a young man that I can’t remember his name, did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable. Tour took about 40 minutes and gave a fair bit of history of Canada that I wasn’t up to date with. Magnificent building.

After well over a decade of designing architectural details and importing thousand-year-old reclaimed biblical limestone from Greece, Stone Hall’s castle is ready for its debut. The castle is unlike anything seen on this side of the Atlantic. Several container loads of 16th, 17th and 18th century museum quality furniture, tapestries and original Old Masters oil paintings adorn this castle. Corporate Meetings, Event Rentals, Over Night Stays and Tours Now Available.
Stone Hall Castle was an amazing experience. I didn't know what to expect, and I was afraid it would be corny or tacky. However, the owner is extremely passionate about the place, and has thoughtfully assembled a wonderful collection of artwork, furniture, tapestries and many more artifacts and treasures that make the place feel like an authentic medieval castle, even though it's in Regina. Highly recommended.

We went to the heritage classic and I would like to give a big thumbs up to the city of regina, the volunteers, and all involved in putting on this event it was 110 percent perfect in all aspects. the stadium had all we wanted with tons of room to get around. Winnipeg could of learned a lot if they would of did there design, bomber stadium is too cramped and the parking is too much and u can't park any where on the street. I parked 2 blocks from the stadium for the pre game show at mosaic. went back to our hotel to have a rest and a schnapps, went back to the game at 5.30 parked again 2 blocks away on the street again. would you believe it it was all free parking on the streets. free free free parking. in wpg you have no parking any where near the wpg stadium, and u have to pay any where near and walk 2 miles to get there. wake up bombers and go to regina where beer is 8 dollars and the food is better and the parking is free. no wonder the seats are empty. I hope wade miller reads the trip advisor reviews he may learn something in how to run a business, instead of trying to rip off fans. go sask roughriders.
