Qingyuan, formerly romanized as Tsingyun, is a prefecture-level city in northern Guangdong, China, on the banks of the Bei or North River. During the 2010 census, its total population was 3,698,412, out of whom 1,510,044 lived in the urbanized Qingcheng and Qingxin districtss. The primary spoken language is Cantonese. Covering 19,015 km (7,342 sq mi), Qingyuan is Guangdong's largest prefecture by land area. The urban core is surrounded by mountainous areas but is directly connected with Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta by Highway 107.

Much cheaper to get their on your own! You can order tickets online cheaper but we paid at the ticket office, costing 149 RMB per person. From our hotel we travelled by taxi from the Dong Fang Hotel to Guangdong Bus Station, costing around 29 RMB. From Guangdong Bus Station there are buses every 30 minutes to Qingyuan, the first bus is 6.30am, taking just over an hour. Behind the Qingyuan Bus terminal you can negotiate a Uber at 80 RMB one way to the Gulongxia Ecology Resort or 150 RMB return trip. We negotiated for them to wait for us, taking just over 2 hours, or you can get their phone no. and call them to collect you. A standard taxi costs around 240 RMB one way! The Uber took around 40 minutes to get to the park. Be careful not to go to the wrong sky glass bridge park! Either way the park is a lot of fun, with a lot of walking, but there are lots of rest stops & food places! If you can, go on a week day as there are less people in attendance! The Glass UFO Platform is a buzz, with the nine-waterfalls in the background. The park is entertaining, stunning scenery and they try & scare you on the glass walkway with sounds & appearance the glass underneath you is cracking! Highly recommended!
