I recently felt in love with Volkswagen T1 bus; you may have seen that in many vintage pictures, well this is the real thing! This iconic vehicle is the funniest way to get around and I can’t wait to share with you its incredible “dolce vita” vibes. We will journey to countryside area known as the “volcanic lakes area” in the south of Rome, enjoying an unforgettable food experience in the heart of ancient Castel Gandolfo and we'll take incredible pictures from the belvedere. The best part of this experience is the trip itself on our cozy and original 1960's Volkswagen minivan equipped with photo-booth, costumes and many funny gadgets! Our lunch stop will be in an incredible Italian osteria set in an antiques studio. We'll have bruschetta, local cheese and cold cuts as an appetizer, home-made pasta, dessert, local wine, and Italian coffee. IMPORTANT: Tour starts between 10am and 11am (depending on the season). Time to taste the famous Frascati Wine! We will guide you through a wine tasting of the three wines of the family production: the famous Frascati Superiore DOCG white wine, the Vagnolo IGP red wine, as well as the Frascati DOC White Wine. You will also have an Oil tasting of the family’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil. All of the wines will be paired with a Gourmet Lunch prepared by our Chef and served directly at the farmhouse! The lunch will consist of several tasty appetizers followed by a first course made of Frascati and Roman Pasta, wine cookies and espresso coffee. At the end of the lunch, you will be driven back to your hotel in Rome, through the Appian Way, the ancient Roman road that went southward all the way to Brindisi. We promise you that this will be a one-of-a-kind experience on the charming hills surrounding the Eternal City!
