Osteria la Briciola

Small and cozy dining room with air conditioning and ample parking. Bright, quiet, away from the busy city with a large Terrace surrounded by green hills where you can relax in the summer. Local reported by many food guides: Gambero Rosso, Bibenda, FUORICASELLO, etc.. For the quality of raw materials, service and room for the warmth and pleasantness of the environment. Wide selection of wines, beers, spirits, oils and vinegars; use of raw materials fresh and of high quality as well as a variety of Slow Food gastronomic delights and Italian.

We were so impressed with the lunch we had at Osteria la Briciola. Clearly the host cares deeply about offering his diners a culinary experience and not just a meal. Several lovely seafood offerings. The cheese plate was delightful and well presented for tasting and discernment. The local wine recommended was extraordinary and reasonably priced. Everything from the antipasto to the desert was out of the ordinary and simply delicious. Combined with the really very fine service, this made for a truly memorable meal. If I have to find one improvement I would suggest they put together their own mix tape of music that matches the quality of their food. What was playing, however, was innocuous and didn't detract from our enjoyment.

The best pizzas in Rome! We ate at several places but these were undoubtedly the best. We went there twice and the super friendly staff recognized us. The pizzas are very tasty and there are many varieties. They are not expensive and are delicious. The only drawback is that we have to eat standing up and the space is so small, but it's worth going there to try.

Panino Divino is a mandatory stage when you are in the area in which it is located to try tehir amazing "panini" (sandwiches). In particular you have to try the "Panino con Porchetta" (a typical stuffed pork flavoured with many spices and grilled directly on the fire).
Personnel is nice and they have the more classic italian attitude to serve you, sandwhches amazing and price very interesting!

I discovered this little gem while visiting my italian friends in Poli (a lovely small place nearby Rome). What a surprise! The owner prepares the best pizza I ever had in Italy. The crust is so light and the toppings are all fresh, carefully selected and mixed with the skills of a real master chef. I just couldn't stop trying them all...so I ended up tasting so many, including one with nutella and strawberries. My fav was the one with eggplant parmesan. My mouth is still watering! I hope the chef will grow his business and open up other places even abroad as I think he would be extremely successful anywhere with his amazing recipes. I will definitely go back next time I am in that area.

Small friendly Sandwich shop located opposite II Tempio di Adriano. Freshly made sandwichs with a great selection of beers. The shop is tiny. As we went in January there were only a couple of seats inside. I am not sure if during the summer that put out more table and chairs in the square. Food was very nice with all fresh ingredients.
