Anyone can get in a car and drive you from point A to point B, but Martin was one of those drivers that you felt very comfortable with. Not only was he personable, but he is a VERY good driver which made me feel at ease as we had a fairly long trip to our final destination. Highly recommend.

Great experience today catching some waves with Julian! Felt a bit nervous because it’s been awhile since I’ve been on a surf board and he communicated everything so well. I felt ease listening to him describe all I needed to know and not overwhelmed at all. Once out on the water, I felt empowered and ready to catch some waves. Felt so safe and comfortable to be out in the ocean. Awesome teacher and great energy! Highly recommend for anyone looking to surf and needing an instructor. It was 2 hours long, the beach was empty and there is no rocks/ pebbles or shells so it feels like the safest place to really absorb and learn the ways.

Diego’s the best in the area. He knows all the spots and cool things to see in the area. When he teaches surfing he starts with the basics and by the end you’re pretty much guaranteed to be standing up and riding waves. I talked to a couple other surf places on the beach, but Diego is the one. Referred my friends there too. He also took some of my friends to a waterfall hike. Definitely recommend Diego.

Hanging bridges are no problem for me, so no lasting memories there even though there were eight of them. But it was notable for being inside a tropical jungle with lots to see. Didn’t see animals but did see birds.

This was an excellent tour from the port for $25.00 a person. It was 3 to 3.5 hours long. We had a driver and a tour guide and both spoke english. It was a good tour and we saw a wild three toes sloth climbing down from a tree as well as a large Aguana. We tasted fruits, cocao, and coconut milk. We got to see lots of the small city and the country side.

I was in Costa Rica in January, now I have traveled to Colombia. I have waited several months but I cannot shake how HORRIBLE this tour was. We were supposed to have a tour bus but was instead packed into a sedan. At some point the tour guide was alluding to us going to a nicer restaurant and having us pay for his lunch because the office "did not send the money over" for the included meal. I have been on many tours before and many after but this one was easily the worst. Our tour guide was out taking pictures of his own on every site instead of actually guiding us. What took the cake was when we thought we were going to see a coffee plantation but instead he pulls over on the side of the road to a ditch to show us mounds of dirt that supposedly were growing coffee and he said he couldn't take us to an actual plantation because "The Nicaraguans are harder working and the Costa Rican youth are always on their phones now so it won't be worth it". We paid 100+ dollars EACH for a glorified taxi ride across the country. 0/10 don't recommend

Manuel Antonio and its surrouding area offers some of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches that stretch along the Pacific coast, but it can be difficult to see them all by foot. With limited transportation options in and around Manuel Antonio and Quepos, your best and most affordable way of getting around is to rent a scooter. Save your vacation time for sunning and surfing, and enjoy the freedom and flexibility to explore Manuel Antonio on your own terms. All scooters are 150cc and are able to carry 2 people.
