Puntarenas (Spanish pronunciation: [puntaˈɾenas]) is a province of Costa Rica. It is located in the western part of the country, covering most of Costa Rica's Pacific Ocean coast, and it is the largest province in Costa Rica. Clockwise from the northwest it borders on the provinces Guanacaste, Alajuela, San José and Limón, and the neighbouring country of Panama.

We spent a week in the condo and enjoyed every minute of it. The condo itself was very comfortable and we had everything we needed to make for an awesome stay. Lovely big pool which we used daily and from which we shared the sunset at happy hour. it is a quieter tourist area and you should have a 4x4 to get the best out of discovering the local beaches and nature walks. We did something different every day and loved the local bars and restaurants in the evenings. Lu - thank you - we could not have asked for a nicer property manager - we plan to come back. Be prepared!

Teed off when rates dipped 80.00 at 2 pm. Staff was great and extremely accommodating. Course was quiet in the afternoon. Only saw three other singles playing at that time. Plenty of coolers on several holes and cooler with ice on the cart. Course is a little dry as early in the year it is the dry season in CR. No different than TN in the summer. Greens and collars were very nice. Cold towel and a water at the 19th hole. Even offered a ride back to our condo when I finished.
