Mimmo is a superb driver and guide. Informed, considerate and kind, he drove us across Sicily and revealed the character and mystery of Sicily to us along the way with intelligence, good cheer and humor. His English is impeccable. When we return, we will certainly use his services again. We loved Sicily, and Mimmo was a big part of the experience.

The Di Giovanna vineyards and wine cellar are located inside the protected Nature Reserve of Monte Genuardo. Private guided tours explain the entire wine making process from the grapes to the bottle. Citizens of the world, especially my fellow Americans, listen very carefully: DiGiovanna winery is an absolute must if you are traveling to southern Sicily. My wife and I just visited there and we had the very best day of our entire Sicilian vacation. Melissa DiGiovanna is an American that married her Sicilian-DiGiovanna-prince. She was gracious and humble, despite the incredibly beautiful estate that they owned. We had an exclusive tour and a delicious private lunch in the winery with a multi-million dollar view. The courses just kept coming and every thing was absolutely fresh and delicious. The wines were superb and high quality organic. The price of $25 euros per person was grand theft larceny. Melissa was a superb host. We were introduced to everyone in the building as if we were special guests. There was no rush at all. She was extremely relaxed, gladly answered all the questions we posed to her, and provided is with several valuable referrals. Grazie mille!
6. Tour of Agrigento with lunch in winery and visit guided
Our driver will meet you at your Residence, Hotel or B&B. He will be your driver in the tour, asking him if he wants any breaks for a coffee break or a toilet break. This excursion is customised using a driver. A driver is a chauffeur specialized in driving you around, he is able to provide basic historical information, he can show you the main highlights, is knowledgeable and he has an umbrella of information. The driver will take care to give adequate time at all stops and to accommodate special requests when possible, to ensure that your experience in Sicily will be both memorable and enjoyable. The driver's first stop will be at the entrance to the Templey Valley and will wait for 2 hours here. The second stop will be to visit a winery and lunch and wine tasting here. He driver is not a Licensed Tour Guide and cannot take you inside monuments. At the entrance of the park it is possible to have a licensed tourist guide professional.The cost is not included in our tour.

We used this company for a week-long trip to Sicily, including airport transfers, hotel transfers between Taormina, Siracusa, and Ragusa, and a few site and winery tours. The driving service was excellent---on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Francesco and Luciano were wonderful. We booked a few specialized tours on our own and those turned out to be better than the tours we booked through this company. I think guides can be hit or miss---Mila in Siracusa was wonderful and Teresa in Agrigento was on her telephone the entire time she was with us. The wineries they booked for us were also hit and miss---Murgo on Etna had great wines but we arrived an hour early and had to stand around in the rain, and the biodynamic winery in Noto (Cantina Marilina) had great food but wines that were largely undrinkable. There was also a problem with our chocolate tasting tour in Modica so we missed the laboratory visit. But I can't fault the company for the guides or the wineries, really. They are basically an excellent chauffeur service, and we can wholly recommend using them as a driving service. Their professionalism and courtesy made our holiday stress-free and, given the opportunity, we would book them again.

Questo tour inizia dal vostro hotel o residenza alle 9.00 della mattina con l'incontro tra i viaggiatori e il nostro autista. Le esperienze che farete sono molto speciali e non le trovate in altri luoghi. A Ragusa Ibla ci sono 3 esperienze disponibili: 1) work shop da Barbara del negozio Le Merabiglie che realizza piccoli gioielli fatti a mano da lei con oro, argento e ceramica di Caltagirone. 2) Work shop da Francesco che realizza insieme a voi oggetti di argilla che si trasforma in Ceramica e sua moglie che decora a mano e pennelli disegnando anche oggetti che voi desiderate. 3) Work shop al laboratorio Cinabrio Carretieri che decorano con pittura scene famose delle opere musicali e teatrali siciliane. Questi erano i veicoli da trasporto persone fino al 1900 ma oggi sono utilizzati solo per passione di collezionisti. 4) Casa-grotta. Qui viveva una famiglia insieme ai loro animali da lavoro, asino e galline in unico ambiente e oggi è con arredi originali come nel passato.

I had no idea what to expect when I travelled to Sicitly. But I was amazed by the scenery, culture, food and mostly the history. Angela our tour guide was very knowledgeable, professional and great fun to be around, nothing was too much trouble. Her home town of Cefalu was amazing! Giuseppe our bus driver was the best and did a fantastic job driving us around safely and I was amazed that he could fit all bags in! If you want to experience definatley contact Angela at Sicily By Experts.
