The St-Cézaire cave is situated only 15 mins from the town of Grasse, the perfume capital of the world. The guided-tour, with commentary in French and English, takes place 40m underground, on a 200m long cave section, which has been adapted for easy access for all the family. Villecroze's troglodytic vestige is cozily settled in the heart of a sunny cliff made of tuff. Occupied since prehistory, it successively belonged to Benedictines monks, to the local Lord (who fortified it) and eventually to the Municipality.
