Hello, My wife & I were a part of this small group tour with another Brazilian family. Our guide was Micael Neto.He was very friendly & very approachable from the start of the tour.He drives well & is able to communicate his point in English. We personally preferred the Aveiro part to Coimbra. The Costa Nova beach & the light house were fantastic. The Moliserro cruise is an experience one should have.We had lunch & Avos Moles at the Market Square at Cafe Pixinho. The Coimbra tour was mainly a university, cathedral & the market square. Speaking personally about Micael a few incidents which stood out for me, a)He found a restaurant in Aveiro which serves vegeterian food for us. b)In Coimbra when the others were busy in the university he took us to the Botanical Garden & Cathedral. c)He helped us plan the rest of our trip in Porto & Lisbon with his suggestions. d)He even recommended places to have vegeterian food near our hotel. e)He ensured that each members personal interests were taken care off during the tour.He made it a point to understand our likes & dislikes.Eg.He made it a point to show me the storks nests & the Dragao stadium. The tour was well organised as any other but Micael was very good & would highly reccomend travelling with Micael to anybody in the future. Cheers, Dr.Vidhi & Harshit

Can’t wait to go back and do it again (and maybe try a different car - cuse they are all amazing)! THANK YOU SO MUCH JOÃO, YOU MADE OUR DAY!

We had an wonderful experience exploring the douro valley. Our local guide Hugo has a wide knowledge but adapted easily to our level. So he has something to offer both to the wine expert as the amateur like us. The wine tour had a personal touch because he has good contacts with the vineyard owners. During covid it was the best possible way to experience en enjoy the douro valley and its products.

Listening to a lost fado, is the beginning of getting a feeling only Portuguese have a word for: “saudade”. Walking the alleyways of Miragaia with a local, is the way to see the hidden “simple wonders” that rushed tourists, miss. In December 2001, UNESCO elevated the Alto Douro Wine Region as a World Heritage Site. A title, unanimously awarded, that awarded the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, decreed by the Marquis of Pombal, in 1756. Unique region for bringing together the virtues of schist soil and its privileged sun exposure with the unique characteristics of its microclimate in together with the hard work of the Douro man. Its Landscape highlights three main aspects: the unique character of the territory, the natural relationship of wine culture with the olive and almond trees and the diversity of local architecture. In addition to these aspects, the candidacy highlighted the remarkable work done by man in the construction of schist walls that extend the slopes and, above all, the authenticity and integrity of the cultural landscape.

Sintra is a beautiful & romantic town in Lisbon. A day trip to Sintra & the Penna palace has left me with replenished energy and superb sensual booster rather than a days physical energy drain out, touring the whole place! Being the last palace built of the 19th century, it has a mix of modern majesty and the ancient mix of architecture. The surrounding forest designed & created with more than 2000 species of trees brought from all over the world, gives us the peaks of freshness, when you walk through the woods. Walking uphill to the Cross at the highest point of the hill was a thrill. Apart from the Sintra town hop-in hop-off tour buses, you have a seperate bus that operates as hop-in & off, inside the penna palace hill gates. Start early from Lisbon to Sintra to breathe in a lengthy time in the Penna palace & the woods and not to miss, the Cape Roca which is the western most edge of the European continent overlooking the Atlantic ocean. You get a train to Sintra from Rossio metro station at Placa Avenida. Organised tours to Sintra from Lisbon are quite expensive. Visit to the Moorish castle can be optimal and a personal choice.
