The highlight of this trip from Prague is the Pilsner Urquell brewery tour. Their lager defined the world's most popular pilsner type of beer. Did you know that over 70% of beer in the world is derived from the lager which was first produced in Pilsen in 1842? The brewery tour includes the modern brewery, the bottling plant, the old brewery with the historic underground and an interactive sensory museum where you can touch and taste the ingredients. The tour also includes the unique experience of tasting the freshly brewed beer - which you can drink only here and in the brewery restaurant! Please note there will be other tourists on the tour. Then we take a short sightseeing walk + drive around the historic part of Pilsen including the church with the tallest church tower in Czechia, the breath-taking 3rd biggest synagogue in the world and the picturesque historic main square. Pilsen was once elected the cultural capital of the EU and is also famous for industry and puppet making.

Hands down just amazing!!! From the moment I booked the communication with the Tour company was outstanding. Peter(the driver) picked me up at the airport and we drove to meet Kevin (the tour guide) at the castle. They both took the time to answer all my questions and explained the rich history of Prague. The tour was truly tailored for me (including the bathroom runs ????). I 100% recommend Kevin and Peter. I was able to see alot in the little time I had available. So if you have limited time this is the way to go. One last thing as a solo female traveler safety is always a concern of mine, I felt safe at all times. P.S. Viator. Peter and Kevin are a power team!

Michal did a private virtual tour for my group yesterday, which was excellent. He was engaging, very knowledgeable and the photos were fantastic. He tailored it to the interests of my group, and I got A LOT of positive feedback after. I would highly recommend a tour with Michal, and hope to get to Prague one day to do his tour in person.

Plzeň is a centre of business in the western part of the Czech Republic. Since the late 1990s the city has experienced high growth in foreign investment. In 2007, Israeli mall developer Plaza Centers opened the Pilsen Plaza, a 20,000-square-metre (220,000-square-foot) shopping mall and entertainment centre featuring a multiplex cinema from Cinema City Czech Republic.Plzeň produces about two-thirds of the Plzeň Region GDP, even though it contains only 29.8% of its population. Based on these figures, the city of Plzeň has a total GDP of approximately $7.2 billion, and a per capita GDP of $44,000. While part of this is explained by commuters to the city, it is one of the most prosperous cities in the Czech Republic. Food was awesome. Pick up and dropping off were ease-free. Not only we get to see unique traditional dance, we also get to participate in it. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the ‘broom’ game whereby when the host says ‘switch’ partners, the only male without partner will have to dance with the broom instead. ???? that was interesting! We hadn’t had such a great time for a long time.

By booking SILVER FEEVER TOUR with More Than Prague we have really made a journey back in time. Darko was so personal, flexible, knowledgeable and funny. We definitely recommend SILVER FEVER TOUR.
