We ventured out in to Perth yesterday evening and had been recommended the old ship inn. We were not disappointed, the staff were lovely and welcoming and attentive. It was a great bar and very relaxed. Great beer lovely atmosphere. I'll be back.

A friend and I were visiting Perth for the night and wanted to stop in to an authentic pub on the way home after dinner. We could not have picked a better place! As soon as we approached the bar asking for a local whiskey, the guy sitting next to us gave us a comprehensive explanation of our options. Once we had decided, we went to sit down and were promptly joined by some locals who we chatted with for almost 3 hours. Never have we felt so welcome and comfortable in a pub! Almost everyone knew each other, but we didn’t at all feel like the odd people out - we even received a free whiskey from the bar as a welcome! Honestly the best night, and the kind of thing you just can’t plan. After promising to keep in contact and leaving with a host of recommendations for the rest of our trip, we returned back to our hotel. We are so grateful for this authentic and heartwarming experience!

We went to Twa Tams visiting family in Perth, a perfectly lovely late lunch spot for a bit of pub food and something to warm your belly. Service was good, felt well attended and checked on.

The Live room is a state of the art live venue which boasts a stage, stunning sound system and a full backline & Lighting Rig. The downstairs bar is a bit more elegant featuring a classy interior and high end cocktails, beers and spirits. Come along and join the fun, All welcome :)
