Great winery! Wine was presented very well and the wines were amazing. Didn't feel rushed and our flight attendant was very knowledgeable. Beautiful views and there is outdoor seating after your wine tasting where you can enjoy a glass of wine and look at the views (which were amazing). They also had a food truck that was serving macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Fox Run Vineyards is an absolute favorite of mine and I was so delighted to bring my husband here for the first time for a long weekend getaway. The team at Fox Run always hits a home run and this trip did not disappoint! We were blown away by how safe and clean everything was! I suffer from an autoimmune disease so going out in public at all during the pandemic is always scary. Fox Run went above and beyond to make sure social distance standards were enforced and that we felt super cared for the entire time. Courtney was our server and she was awesome! Her energy and clear enthusiasm for the customer was unparalleled. Plus her expertise about the vineyard and Fox Run’s wines was next level! We loved everything she recommended and can’t wait to return! Don’t miss this excellent space and super great wine selection. It’s a must in such a robust region of great options! - Jess and Nate Corrigan

Rooster Hill Vineyards

At Rooster Hill Vineyards we set our sights high to grow the very best grapes to make the highest quality wines. We take special care in determining the processes we use to make our wines which have earned us high marks by publications including Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast. On our Savine Estate, 4,000 feet of drainage tile is installed to ensure grapes have the best possible conditions to develop their root structure. From these techniques, we can harvest quality grapes that balance between flavor, texture, acid and tannin structure. We truly believe wine is made in the vineyard before it enters our state-of-the-art fermentation process and then control aged in our superlative French and American oak barrels. Enjoy our wines in a variety of ways by visiting our vineyards for tours and tasting room experiences, through our exclusive wine club, at our several events or through purchase on our website. After your visit or first taste, we think you'll know how exquisite our wines are and why we savor, favor and honor them.

We stopped at Rooster Hill Vineyards for the first time. We enjoyed a tasting of 5 wines and for $7 you could keep a great wine glass (not those little ones you would never use again). Our server was very knowledgeable and conversed well with us. I would definitely stop back there again!

I visited multiple wineries along Seneca Lake and this experience was amongst my favorites. I booked ahead online with no issues. They have a set up where a person stands across from you with plexiglass in between, and they wear a mask while pouring and explaining each wine you are tasting. Every wine I tasted was wonderful and I happily left with a couple of bottles in hand. Very impressed with how they are handling pandemic tastings. Highly recommend!

Earle Estates Meadery

Reviewed By PAValleyGirl - Ames, United States

If you haven’t tried Meade, you have been missing out! Next to Torrey Ridge, is Earle Estates Meadery. Meade is my mojo! There is a reason the Founding Fathers loved it so much. At Earle Estates, a number of their wines are made with meade. It is a fantastic blending of two time-honored traditions. It is amazing how they do this, and the result is divine. There is a cool display in the tasting room, showing the bees in a screen working fast and furiously to make honey, used for the meade. A knowledgeable young woman, a student at the local college nearby served as our host for our tasting. She was very pleasant and really enjoyed her job. I would highly recommend this stop on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
