We were looking for somewhere to get an afternoon treat, and decided to give this place a try, They were very busy but the service was speedy, and the ice cream delicious. We ordered the smallest sizes and couldn't believe how generous the portions were.
Well worth a visit.

This is a very original old wooden diner, which hasn't been changed much in the intervening years -- and that's the good news! There was a line to get in, but the tables turned quickly. They have an app that will text you when your table is ready. So yea, even though it's an old building, they think young!
Absolutely one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Home fries, in particular, were great.
Do yourself a favor and experience this place. It's a must stop diner in the beautiful Finger Lakes!

Recently had lunch here with a friend. Clean and great selection of bakery and sandwich selection. Had the cajun chicken sandwich which was delicious. Small dining area but most people order take out. Saturday's they make cinnamon buns - too die for!!!

A wonderful stop for a light meal with tasty options for lunch and sweets. Great coffee variety. Everything we tried was delicious and food presentation was very good as well. Portions on a smaller side, but that was exactly what we wanted. We chose to sit outside, and it was so relaxing to sit on a small covered porch and be surrounded by trees and hills, and a small creek down below. Good service. Loved their store as well. Will come back for sure!

Rather over priced for the small selection of libations and menu items. It is definitely not a place to bring a family for meal. we tried it once and that was enough.

We were in PennYan for a meeting and arrived early, so we decided to have a cup of coffee. What a great coincidence that this was the first place we saw. The inside is attractive and clean, and the coffee was the best I'd ever had!

Came in the evening for a hot chocolate, coffee and donuts. The counter person suddenly stopped working on our order to handle drive thru orders. We couldn't tell if he was talking to us or drive thru on his headset. We ended up waiting 10 minutes to get our order.

Timmy G's wasn't fancy, but the staff was friendly enough, the menu listed a nice variety of dishes and service was good. I had Chicken French which reminded me of Chicken Marsala except it was cooked with a Cream Sherry sauce. I had a salad and french fries with it. My husband had a cup of chili and Liver & Onions which was one of the specials. We were very happy with our meals.
We knew that it must be a favorite with locals as someone was celebrating their birthday and the waitress seemed to know the group.

When visiting family in Penn Yann, NY, we come to Mac's at least once per day!! The selection of Hershey's ice cream is delish, staff is very friendly, and there is even a mini-golf course behind the dairy bar. Great spot for families, ample parking, and prices are reasonable. They also have very creative sundaes which are not to be missed! We love Mac's and can't wait to visit again.

The Olney Place is conveniently located in the middle of nowhere. Here, we are committed to maximizing your time on Keuka Lake. Please come visit us and check out our wide variety of local goodies, vast craft beer selection and tasty deli counter. Our sticky buns, breakfast sandwiches and locally roasted coffee are as good as it gets when starting your day. Our lunch menu features many selections which include many locally sourced ingredients. We have t-shirts, cards, artwork, free WiFi and public restrooms. We look forward to seeing you.

So happy we stopped at Olney Place on Keuka Lake. Amazing beer selection - best curated beer menu in the Finger Lakes IMHO - and great sandwiches. Not your usual deli options. We had the Country Cuban which was nicely pressed/toasted and served with ruffle chips. You must stop here when at Keuka Lake. A nice view as well.
