I decided to book a 7-day tour with Hunza Trek and Tours through a recommendation of a Vietnamese friend. An amazing K2 base camp trek with Trango Adventure. I wanted to travel with a local company in Pakistan as it will benefit the local people and local economy. I chose to book my K2 base camp trek journey with Trango Adventure. They were local, knew the area inside out and ticked all the boxes. Office staff and the field crew were extremely helpful throughout the K2 base camp trek. Enjoyed every moment I spent in the mountains with my Guide and the friendly Balti porters. They provided clean tents and plenty of food. The highlight of the K2 base camp trek was, spending two night at Concordia under the shadow of K2 (8,611 meters), Broad Peak ( 8,047 meters), Gasherbrum (8,080 meters), Concordia is like no place you have seen before. Sparsely populated and extremely humbling, the rugged terrain that makes up Pakistan's Karakoram Range is just as impressive as you imagine. The huge peak of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, dominates the renown Baltoro area. Trekking to the foothills of K2 and Concordia is an absolute classic trek, highly recommended.

My first times at Hunza with my group, I’m very impressed everything especially Azan Travel and Tourism, people and natural place. We got the good service, helpful and friendly from Muzammil. Everything at Hunza is simple life but very precious and awesome. You can go back again and again every seasons. Once I will be back again!

One can find pink, white, red, yellow, blue flowers, dancing, everywhere in the northern areas during autumn season. This is the time of year when the trees of poplar, apricot, mulberry, peach, apple and plum burst forth into a riot of color with hues of orange, rust and red. The clear and bracing weather offers the best view of the surrounding mountains

If you are planning a big project in Pakistan I definetly recommend this agency! During our trip we had many logistical problems caused by the strong winter 2018/19. Hunza Guides solved all of them efficiently. The kitchen staff were magicans that served the best imagineable service! I'm looking forward to my next adventure organized by Hunza Guides. Without the brilliant work of Amir, his brothers and sons, our guide/BC manager Sahid and the staff our expedition wouldn't have been successfull... that's for sure!

K2 base camp trek mainly involves walking over and marching along the world’s 5th longest non-polar glacier i.e. Baltoro glacier (63 km). At the end of Baltoro glacier is Concordia which is known as “Throne Room of Mountain Gods”. It is the supreme point for views of K2 (world’s second tallest mountain) and other mighty peaks above 8,000m. It is a legend that one night under the grand mountains in Concordia adds to life span of any soul by one year. Concordia is a glacial confluence of the Baltoro Glacier with the Glacier of Godwin Austen. Trek to K2 base camp and Broad Peak base camp is altogether a one day tour from Concordia on the Godwin Austen glacier.
