We have been purchasing maple syrup here for many years. Jamie, Sherry and all their staff run a traditional maple syrup business. For a 6 week period their are 2 more primitive ways of syrup making, 1. A traditional sugar camp and 2. The Kettle Boys make syrup in cast iron kettles over an open fire.

We went as an adult family for the annual Christmas open house. This is a beautiful conservation area with a pond, covered bridge and mill. For the open house, the buildings were open, featuring hot cider, cookies and hot chocolate. There were horse drawn sleigh rides and a choir singing Christmas music. This is a beautiful place anytime but especially enjoy this annual event.
