The tour delivered exactly what it offered. Pick-up from our hotel was on time. The tour guide offered some information about the area and Loulé itself while driving to town. That being said, the market was a bit underwhelming. I had hoped to see more artisan stalls and handicrafts. Overall, I am glad to have taken a tour to see a bit of a different sight of the Algarve.

Come and discover authentic Algarve cities, we’ll visit remote rustic villages, ancient buildings and monuments that are filled with history. Our trip starts in the capital of the Algarve, the city of Faro. Here, we’ll stroll through the narrow streets and the squares until we reach the famous Village Arch. Our first stop will be in Olhão, one of the oldest fishing villages in the Region. Here, you can enjoy a stroll along Ria Formosa and take in the beauty of this famous natural park. You will also have time to savour some of the delicious cuisine the region has to offer, and to try the wonderful — and fresh! — fish and shellfish that the various restaurants in Olhão have on their menu. And we’ve kept the best for last: the charming city of Tavira. Is a looking glass into an Algarve of traditions, filled with character and, above all, beautiful. Among the points of interest, of note are the city’s castle and Santa Maria do Castelo Church.

Very poor, waited 2 hours for a bus this morning none arrived. So fed up with the service by this evening we took a taxi back to the hotel. You could buy a ticket with this company or instead take 30 euros from your wallet and set fire to it - the latter is less stressful
