We visited a couple of months ago this stunning island, Hate no Hama! ???????? is an uninhabited island located approximately 5 km away from Kumejima, Okinawa ???? Hate no Hama Is made up of 3 Islands: ????“Menuhama” ????”Nakanuhama” ????”Hatinuhama” Is so beautiful that has appeared several times in commercials and even in Google! It’s a place that I consider you should put on your bucket list ☺️❤️???????? Access: You can visit Hate no Hama by taking a tour from Kumejima, it will take you about 30 mins by boat ❤️ (the hotel will help you arrange the tour so no worries ????) Wow if you want to snorkel this is the place to go, pretty beach, and very clear water, the coral reef is very big and heaps of amazing fish bright blues and colours The beach is made from sand And coral so shoes needed, You pay to park $500 yen There is toliets also a dress water shower for $200 yen You will need snorkeling gear, after reading many reviews we purchased ours for $2700 and it was good. Okuma Beach

We managed to locate the public area of the beach quite easily on our drive north towards Cape Hedo from Cape Manzamo. We simply parked at some parking lots along the road, walked up a few steps and there was the beautiful beach, free for all to enjoy but with few people in sight. There was no public toilet though. There were plenty of dead corals washed up on the sand. It is such a lovely beach that we ended up spending too much time there and missed going to Dai Sekirinzan Park which closes at 4pm.

Perhaps the perfect place if you are looking for a beach getaway during a trip to Okinawa. Unspoilt sand, great snorkelling, loads of good local restaurants, a campsite right next door. Couldn't think of anywhere better to while away a beach break.

You would experience a warm welcome from the hotel staff since you stepped into the Hotel. The great location of the hotel (5 mins walk from BTS station), the great buffet breakfast (with lots of choices from eastern to western to local), and the great sunshine at the hotel's swimming pool would all make your stay a memorable one.

Nirai Beach

Reviewed By Zakimi - Pensacola, United States

Nirai Beach is truly Okinawan at heart. Not a touristy trap, but a place of cultural importance. The area is surrounded by nature. Lovely ocean, flora, people. It's quite a cultural experience to visit. If staying in the hotel Nikko Alivila or just a visitor you will have a great time. It's my secret place to visit away from the crowds when I want to experience Okinawa intimately.
