Espiguette Beach

Enjoyed a few hours here in August sunshine. It caters for huge numbers of people but is absolutely vast with safe shallow waters and refreshments nearby. Car park is reasonable for what you are gaining access to, and every time you walk through the entry parting in the dunes it is like Holkham in Norfolk just with warmer and closer water!! Up to my neck in the Med with a huge shoal of small fish rolling with the gentle swell was just wonderful.

Plage des Orpellieres

Reviewed By VancityAussie - Vancouver, Canada

Great place to visit for the day or stay at in summer. Very relaxed and friendly nude beach. Lots of families and couples of all ages enjoying the sun. There are sections with lifeguards and on weekends you’ll regularly see vendors going up and down the beach. Sand is smooth and the water is at knee height for around the first 10 metres or so. Be aware that this beach can get very busy on the weekends in summer (especially Sunday), when French locals descend on the sand to enjoy the sun sans-clothing.
