I felt totally safe and all considerations given to Covid-19 during my visit to the new location of Gloots at the Haven. I could not fault the process or raise concerns about it. The process starts with you remaining in your car until Jaccqui comes to bring you inside. Don’t worry all of this is fully explained before you attend. I was shown into the reception point where I had my temperature taken, logged in using the NHS venue check in, cleaned my hands with sanitiser and answered some questions about my recent health. Masks were worn by us both throughout this. It really helped me feel at ease knowing my safety, and that of those at the Haven was taken so seriously. I was then taken into the treatment room where I enjoyed a wonderful warm bamboo massage. The heat on such a wet cold day was so needed. My legs had swollen up becoming hard and painful, but with the heat and massage techniques expertly used I left in less pain and they felt light. I can’t wait to go back on my next visit. Highly recommend.

I availed the Oriental package (hot poultice back, neck, shoulders and Indian head massage) today. No regrets. I feel great. My shoulders are not tensed anymore. It’s definitely a stress relief for me. I highly recommend Therapist Dang. She’s very professional and she’s very good at her job. Well done! I’ll be coming back again.

I am truly blown away from my experience at the Stress-Busting Retreat hosted by The Pamper Lounge Team. It has been a life changing experience for me! From the pilates, the food, the nature walk, meditation, laughing yoga and group hypnotherapy sessions... what a memorable experience indeed. Ben is the most knowledgeable, professional and kindest masseuse I have come across. I have been using his services for two years and I can't wait to return post-lockdown. He gives you tons of information to help you in between massages. Ben is very respectful, makes you feel comfortable in a very "intimate" scenario. I will recommend Ben to anyone whose muscles need a good sort out and have been doing so for a while anyway!

I was visiting York for a long weekend and I wanted to treat myself to a massage the day before we came home (after all the sight seeing and shopping!) I booked the 90 minute Swedish Massage with Kerrie and I’ll I can say is WOW! Kerrie was so lovely and her massage was heavenly, I felt like she was in tune with my body as she found all the tense bits! She even went over the time as I was her last client!? What an angel! I highly highly recommend this place.
