Things to do in Newcastle upon Tyne, England: The Best Game & Entertainment Centers

September 5, 2021 Almeta Stockton

Once a shipbuilding city, Newcastle's flashier claim to fame is nightlife. Throw in a heap of premium restaurants serving foods from all over the world and it's no wonder young partiers choose to blow their hard-earned (or not-so-hard-earned) cash in Newcastle. While these amenities are certainly a draw for the hipsters and culture-seekers, it's the locals that make Newcastle a truly special place to visit. "Geordies," as they are often called, embody the pride, industriousness and resilient spirit of their city.

My partner bought me 60min in the 737 as a present as I've always wanted to be a pilot. It's a fantastic experience and is so realistic and the owners are very friendly, patient and explain everything as you fly, so you get the most from the experience. Managed two take offs and landings from different countries and loved every second of it, just wished I could have stayed there for another 6 hours lol. Will definitely be booking again!

Westgate Ark Cat Cafe

Lovely welcoming place. Cats love strokes and cuddles, one will sit on your shoulder if you ask nicely! The cat café is next to Westgate Ark's charity shop which also raises funds to help the cats. As previous review said they rescue treat and rehabilitate cats in the local area. Lovely welcoming staff, £3 gives you a hot/cold drink and biscuits with profits all going to help treat and rehabilitate rescued cats, a very worthwhile cause.
