Things to do in New Mexico, United States: The Best Yoga & Pilates

June 29, 2021 Lean Nau

With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

Absolutely worth your time!!! From the start of booking our massages to the end was a great experience. Cheris was my massage therapist and she was amazing!! Listened to what my needs were and massaged away!! I then added on an Aveda plant based Glycolic peel from Meagan who I absolutely loved!!! She was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great advice on skincare!! The treatment was wonderful and if I lived closer she would be my esthetician!! Loved my entire experience!!! My friend had Fabian as her massage therapist... and said he was probably the best she has ever had... can’t wait to visit again and come back to this spa!!!

Amy was such a great Yogihiker! We were in Santa Fe for two days and a Yogihike was time well spent! The hike was so beautiful! It was not a difficult hike (for anyone who might be worried about that) It was a great balance of hike and yoga (not strenuous) My husband is not a huge yogi, so I was a little worried about the level of the class. Amy was very inclusive, her cues for poses and breath were so helpful! We both had an amazing experience and definitely recommend it for those who love yoga and the outdoors!

Pilates Santa Fe

Santa Fe's premiere fully equipped Pilates Studio.

Pilates SantaFe is really a terrific studio away from home. The instructors are experienced and helpful, the Pilates is challenging, and the facility is first rate. I was visiting Santa Fe for several weeks and participated in group classes (really terrific people), private’s, and some non Pilates training and wellness treatments. Really a great place all around and I would highly recommend it. In fact, I’m getting ready to start booking there for this coming winter’s visit.

Tait is the BEST athletic trainer EVER! My daughter injured her knee in February and due to COVID we could not get her the help she needed sooner.... Tait assessed the situation, worked on her and totally fixed her! She was lunging by the end of the session. I bought her a star wrap and he sent her home with Strengthening exercises to do at home. My daughter’ exact words when we left: “ I went in there feeling like an elderly woman and came out feeling brand new like a teenager again” We are so thankful for Tait and we will be back in a month!
