If you have limited time, this is a great day trip (around 13 hours) from Yangon, taking in some of the most important Buddhist sites in the area, and allowing you to see the lush landscapes of Myanmar. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and our driver was very efficient at dropping us off and picking us up from various locations. All attraction entry prices, water and food are included. The company, Colors of Myanmar, was also very obliging, helping us to change the date of our tour when we couldn't make it on the day we had originally planned. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed this since it affords one the opportunity to see people going about their daily lives. I got to talk to the locals on the train; they were all so friendly, as was pretty much anyone I came into contact with in Myanmar.

It is a few of people are visited in Shwedagone Pagoda because of limitation in the time of Covid-19 Pandemic, restrictive of Military Coup and detaining of exiting Government leaders and political activists are detained. So 10-20 people are visited when I was there. But worthy a visit and pray to Myanmar people to release democracy leaders and to reach their goal.

I am playing catch up as I haven't been here in quite a while,In 2016/2017 my partner and I travelled to Myanmar having a 3 week custom private tour. The Team at Tour East were excellent, Not only did everything go as planned the guides provided in each area were extremely knowledgeable and made suggestions re our itinerary to compliment what was already planned. Balloons over Bagan was probably a highlight however the while trip over something for all the senses and the people we met were wonderful.
