MartI Marina & Yacht Club

We have a small trawler which we decided to anchor in Marti Marina for about 4 months during the summer of 2020. Our experience has been absolutely spectacular! Not only the location is pristine and as pretty as picturesque, but also the service you get from the staff in the marina and from the establishment around the marina (the hotel in the marina is exceptional and very luxurious) deserve a solid praise! They are incredibly friendly, resourceful and accommodating. To further elaborate, I work in a big tech company and was in need for an office space to work from for a couple days and they even provided that for me. Orhaniye is a special place and as someone who grew up in Turkey and lives in the States (but still travel often to Europe) I will attest to the fact that you will find no other place like this. It is pure heaven.

Port Iasos Marina

Reviewed By Hydraman - St. Albans, United Kingdom

We originally found this place whilst driving about. The old ruins were amazing and we were free to roam around without charge. Possibly this may have been off season but it is not listed on any of the regular tourist spots. We did not use any of the waterside bars or restaurants so cannot pass on any comments. Our second visit to the area was to take us to the Marina situated in the next bay to the north. Access is a bit strange as it is approached via a hillside urbanisation with a gateway and security station that makes you feel you have taken a wrong turn. Eventually you will drop down via some quite steep roads and find the Marina and restaurant to your left whilst the right fork takes you to a small secluded sandy beach with small cafe. Back at the Marina we enjoyed an excellent Steak and beer whilst watching the sun set and moon rise over the bay. Very good service and you can watch the chef working in the bar kitchen. One warning would be if you have a fear of catsI We are fine and watching them "begging" does not bother us, however one diner was constantly shouting at them and the waiter spent most of his time spraying water at them to keep them away. The fact that having cats around a Marina is one of the best ways to keep rats away from your boats is a bonus.
