Medjed Peak

This is the most iconic of all the peaks of Durmitor. Even though it is only in 19th place on the list of tallest peaks, it stands out for its landscape, rising above the surface of the Black Lake. If you pay attention you will notice that it really resembles a bear, after which it was named.

Mount Vrmac

Numerous hiking and mountain trails with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Kotor are a real delight for adventurers and fans of wild nature. The highest peaks of Vrmac are St. Elijah (785 m) and Velji Vrh (712 m). The major pedestrian path follows the direction of the line of the ridge and is suitable for mountain biking. Twelve groomed and marked trails with a total length of 30 km provide access to almost every village on this hill.

Zanjic Cove

This is one of the most attractive swimming and picnic areas in Herceg Novi which, during the season, can be easily reached by tourist boats. The beach, covered in white pebbles, long over 300m and wide even to 15m, is surrounded by thick Mediterranean vegetation and protected by the Arza reef from the impact of strong waves.
