On this trip you will have a chance to visit Ostrog monastery, the most important pilgrimage site in Montenegro. One of the most popular attractions away from the coast, is situated in central Montenegro. On your way to the monastery, you will have some great photo opportunities above Boka Bay, and near Slano Lake. You will spend some time with your guide in the monastery, before proceeding to Skadar Lake NP. Rijeka Crnojevića is a hidden pearl of Montenegro. The visit was planned as a set of activities: one-hour boat ride, walk through the  nature areas over there, and taking photos of, by the most of my tourists, most beautiful nature sight in Montenegro. It’s also planned to have a lunch in the fish restaurant whose offer is based on a tasting of local fish specialties (fish soup is great;)) and of course, the inevitable Montenegrin wines made from the finest varieties of grapes from this region.

Inclusions: Licensed guide with great local knowledge, Private transportation by modern cars, vans or minibuses., Llunch with drinks, Boat ride on Skadar lake, Hotel/port pickup and drop-off, Bottled water, Alcoholic Beverages

Exclusions: Gratuities, Souvenirs

Tour was amazing, tour guide Andro who is also an owner of the tour company was fantastic. It was raining really bad during our tour he took us to a cafe to wait for rain to pass a bit and after he tried to fit everything in for us to have best experience. He was on time and was flexible with time because our cruise was a little late on time originally schedule for a tour. He made sure we were happy and wanted my kids and I to go places we wanted and answered all the questions we had plus had such a great knowledge of the history of the region. Made my girls and I fall in love with Montenegro thanks to Andro. I highly recommend this tour you will be highly satisfied! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Very exciting and interesting tour that keeps you on your toes and keep wanting you more of it! Tanja was a blast and I could go with her anywhere in the world as a tour guide, she is absolutely amazing and a great host. The lake and the bay are amazing and there is so much to explore. I have enjoyed every second of the trip. Budva is beautiful and Lovcen is magical! Food and wine were perfect and the winery was charming, with very pleasant staff, and great service. I expected a lot from Montenegro but this trip gave me so much more, thank you Montenegro Wonders for this great experience and so much efort to make this trip unforgettable.

This tour combines some of the lesser known countries in the Balkans; Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro, by trying to show the best each of these countries offers. Albania offers a mixture of cultural elements with 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a rich archaeological legacy. Macedonia offers some of the most excellent religious relics, with Ohrid having the biggest Icon museum in the region as well as many beautiful churches. This theme is carried over into Kosovo the newest state in Europe, where we combine religious monuments with tasting of wine and local foods. The Tour will end up in Montenegro which has made a name for itself based on its wild natural beauty.

I can't thank our tour guide Adam enough for giving us a fun filled day from start to finish. If you are lucky enough to get him as your tour guide you will agree with me that he is one interesting man on this planet! He went above and beyond, even making additional pit stops. He showed us so much in one day that would of easily taken us two to three days to do. The tour exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to do future day trips in other countries/cities with Albanian Express Travel and Adam!

A city walking tour that will introduce you to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, and it's administrative, cultural and economic centre. The wider area has been inhabited since the Stone Age, but its urban history starts with the arrival of the Romans in the 2nd century B.C. Dating from the period of Illyrian-Roman wars, Podgorica was always at the crossroads for Greek travellers, Roman legionnaires, Byzantine messengers, Serbian noblemen, Venetian merchants, Turkish invaders, Montenegrin warriors... More than 70 bombings in the Second World War have wiped out many buildings and monuments from the previous centuries. During our 90 minutes walk, we will pass by some of these remaining traces of the previous centuries but will also take a look at the way the city was rebuilt during the communist period and in the later decades.

I have just gotten back from my tour and I must say that this is one of the best town tours I have ever been on, I highly recommend it. Ana was my guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about the town and its history. She was able to answer any and all questions I had and kept the tour interesting. I would 100% tell anyone I know to do this tour when visiting Montenegro and Kotor as it was amazing. I would also like to note that even with covid, I felt comfortable on this great tour! Thank you, Ana!!

Through centuries many empires came to Montenegro and many succeeded in conquering it. No wonder why there are still remains of different architectural styles standing today still. On this tour, we will guide you through stories and places that have that little “something”. Our first stop is the Old royal capital of Cetinje. It’s a living postcard with small houses, museums and a monastery from the 15th century. The next stop is, Budva old town, the simple must-see spot in Montenegro visited by all travelers but popular for locals also. Kotor old town is a medieval town with a history dating from over 1000 years B.C.Since 1979 the Kotor old town is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. On the way back we will do a photo stop above St. Stefan island, the former fishing village situated on a peninsula today is visited by Holywood stars and Royal families Skadar Lake and visiting Virpazar town once was the main marketplace of the area but today the main spot in National Park Skadar Lake.

This was a great tour, and our guide, Darko, was exceptionally knowledgeable. We would strongly recommend this tour. Our only issues were that we needed more bathroom breaks, and those in the backseat had considerable trouble hearing the guide while he was driving. Regardless, we would recommend this to all Montenegro travelers. Wear/take layers - can be chilly!

Had Slavko as our small tour leader, wonderful guy, very friendly and knowledgeable and is clearly proud of his country, which always makes for the best guides. Several hundreds of kilometers of driving, but it's a fantastic way to see a big chunk of Montenegro in a single day. Breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and plenty of photo stops along the way so you're never in the car for too long. First major stop is at the Tara River Canyon, the largest canyon in Europe, where it's possible to walk across the high bridge for fantastic views of the gorge below. You can also go ziplining here. Onward to Durmitor National Park and the absolutely stunning mountain scenery at Black Lake. Finally to the amazing Ostrog Monastery, built in the 17th century into a high vertical cliff. Bring extra camera batteries or a power bank for you phone because you will take a lot more pictures than you realize! :)
