Things to do in Mont Tremblant, Canada: The Best Sightseeing Tours

July 15, 2021 Almeta Stockton

Skiiers have flocked to Mont Tremblant since its first chairlift and lodge opened in 1939. Now, though, it's just as popular with snowboarders, who love its 18 acres of ramps, rails and jumps, and its Olympic-caliber superpipe. Don't fret, though, because despite its name, this mountain doesn't actually tremble... unless you've tossed back a few too many in one of the village's bars!

My family was just at your zip line place last week. I make a claim an issue that happened during our time there. An still waiting for reply 4 months already since then... I was not aware on what was happening until my kids were done at the zip line, my family and I are shocked and disappointed by the way my daughter was treated during their time there. My daughter explained this to us: “ At first we were learning how to ride a zip line since this was everyone’s FIRST time on a zip line. The male guide with long hair was helping us out at first and after we were done the tutorial he told us to ‘take our time on the zip lines and go at your own pace’ once we got to the actual zip lines everything went OK in the first and second zip line. Onto the third one a female guide was there watching us, I went down the zip line and I got stuck trying to get onto the other platform, I started doing the technique to get onto the platform, not even 30 seconds later the female guide from the other side of the platform was yelling at me to ‘get onto platform’ but since we were so far away from each other I couldn’t understand half of the things she was trying to tell me, I didn’t know if she was saying “stay there” or “get up” confused, I stayed where I was because i didn’t understand her. She came down and pushed me up onto the platform and told me and if It takes me this long to get onto a platform she was going to have to kick me off the zip lines, so she did, she kicked me off the zip lines because I Was causing ‘traffic’ to the other people behind me. She unclipped me from the wires and I followed her down the hill to try to get down. I could tell she was annoyed with me, once we reached another platform she told me to “follow the dirt path to reach the bottom of the zip line” and she left me there. the path was very faint but I did what she told me, 2 mins later there was no more path. I was lost. I stayed where I was for 5 minutes hoping someone would find me. The female guide found me again and asked me with a rude tone and attitude, what I was doing and I told her there was I couldn’t find the path anymore. She laughed in my face and told me “ sorry I forgot to tell you there was no path after” I was shocked. How did she let me go here by myself if she knew there wasn’t going to be a path anymore? Especially in the woods? She then guided me all the way back down and I waited for my family members to finish. “ This was our daughters FIRST time on a zipline. It was everyone’s first time. She did what the male guide told her to do, to take her time. But the female guide didn’t seem to like what she was doing and was treating her like she was a professional zip liner. she was taking her time trying to get onto the platform just like they told her it would be OK to do. There was no need for my daughter to be treated this way she is not a professional zip liner. There was absolutely no need to let her find her own way down as well. As a guide you HELP them reach the bottom safely the gamble guide left her there to figure out her own way back down. We are shocked and disturbed on how your female guide treated my daughter, with such little respect all from just taking a little longer to reach the platform. On that note, I would like a full refund for my daughter. She did two zip lines and then got kicked off from the third one from the female guide. She waited almost 30 minutes for our family to all come down. My daughter does not remember the female guides name. But I’m sure you can find out who it was by checking your schedule for that day.
