We have done plenty hop on hop off experiences before thought we knew what to expect - we were pretty shocked to discover that this company decided there is not much to say about Mexico City and 90% of the trip you sit in silence. Most people on the bus with us were sleeping. Long distances travelled with not a word from the audioguide. The next day we did the Free Walking Tour - amazing! Turns out there is lots to learn about Mexico City after all!

And we have been on plenty all around the world. We were fortunate to have 2 guides for a group of 4 people, the owner Rodrigo as well as Fernanda. Both are really passionate about their city and its food. We stopped at 8 places over the course of 5 hours. Each place was selected for a specific reason and they were all simply amazing. We also very much enjoyed going through the Mercado de San Juan and enjoying a few nibbles along the way. We walked and talked and ate a lot. You will not leave this tour hungry or needing anything else to eat for the rest of the day. The food was all delicious, freshly prepared by local owners who really take pride in their food. We also got a lot of history during the walk which was great. Both guides were genuinely interested in what we had to say, and ensuring that we were enjoying our experience. We liked the company so much, we will be doing its Tacos and Mezcal tour later in the week. Cannot recommend highly enough

We booked this tour based on it's itinerary and reviews. We do enjoy an occasional private tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel. Veronica was our guide and was amazing. We went to a flower market before getting on the floating boat. The ride was lovely. Veronica told us a lot about the city it's history and culture. We went to the Diego Rivera museum which is amazing. Then to the Coyocan market where we grabbed a bite to eat and have some free time. Then the Frida Kahlo museum which is a must see. The driver was excellent, smoothly guiding us around the city. We also stopped at the University which wads fascinating. Veronica is very proud of her city and it shows. Her energy and enthusiasm were palpable. The price for what you get is a real bargain. Highly recommend
