Things to do in Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region: The Best Bars & Clubs

December 18, 2021 Roseanne Arnett

The “Red City” of Marrakesh is a magical place, brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques. Exploring the intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways of the historic Medina can easily eat up a day. Find inner peace at the serene Jardin Majorelle or take in the beauty of one of the city’s historic mosques (taking note that, unless you are Muslim, you are not allowed to enter).

An enchanting garden, a wondrous Xmas decoration inside, luxury everywhere. Go there for an (expensive) delightful drink. Chat under the orange threes, relax and read a book listening to the birds song.

Le Bar Churchill

Reviewed By ChristofvdH - Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Our aim was to walk in the hotel gardens which are great with among others 600-700 year old olive tree (and can be accessed for free). When going to the garden you have to walk through the hotel lobby and the Churchill bar. It is obvious that this is an expensive hotel. After the gardens we decided to have a drink in the bar. The Moroccan wine was excellent and the assortment of nuts / olives that was provided were good. We had a great time sipping the wine and watching people pass bye. There was not rush by the staff at all. Please note: this is a luxury high end hotel, and alcohol is not generally served in Morocco. A generous glass of wine costs approx 18 euro. A coffee costs at about 7 Euro.

Since then, the club has confirmed its role as a forerunner on the Moroccan night scene.
