We had a great trip to Machu Picchu booked with Cusco Unique Experience. It was a private tour, which I highly recommend for this important site. Karina and Brian worked with us to plan the perfect trip for us. They are flexible and will plan the trip that you want. Prior to the trip they sent the itinerary so we knew what we were going to do. We were met at the airport, even though out flight was very late, and driven to our hotel in the sacred valley that used to be a hacienda. Our guide for the sacred valley and Cusco was Rina, and we felt we saw and learned so much about the Incas. Our guide for Machu Picchu was Alex. He met with us the night before we were going to Machu to tell us what to bring, what not to bring, and what to expect. He met us at our hotel on Machu Picchu morning to walk to the bus with us. He explained so much about the Incas and Machu Pichu. He helped us with our photos and suggested good places to take photos. It was so great to have a private tour. We spent two more days touring with Rina ending in Cusco. We were offered one more activity to end our tour and we chose a cooking class. That was a riot because the chef spoke Spanish but the restaurant provided a someone to translate for us. The food was delicious. Our driver picked us up at 4:30AM for our vert early flight to Santiago, Chile. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. We loved Peru and we were totally satisfied with Cusco Unique Experience.

It must have been 100F with 100% humidity furing our January trip. Even though it was furing the tsiny seasom, we were blessed with 3 fully sunny days. The tour leaders were very knowledgeable and friendly and the staff was very efficient. We only wished they turned on the power in the morning when we have to be ready to go by 4:30a. And wished there was a fan in our cabins to circulate the air. Still, a very memorable experience.

A visit to this city and its nearby ruins takes you back to the cosmic kingdom of ancient Andean culture, merged with the colonial imprint of the Spanish conquest, only to be repackaged as a thriving tourist center. The capital of Cusco is known as the gateway to Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. An impressive landscape extends from Andean peaks to cloud forests rich in orchids and Amazonian lowlands. Explore it on foot or with thick tires, rafting in wild rivers or simply challenging local buses to remote corners and worn away by the dust of this powerful cultural department. The National Park of Manu is a world Heritage site and one of the areas with the most biodiversity in the world. one of the biggest attractions of the Park are the collpas, habitat of flocks of macaws, as well as other wildlife species.

This was s really good experience. The historical site is amazing. And what made it extra perfect Alex Jesús the tour guide was amazing.  Very knowledgeable and friendly.  We moved through the city at a perfect pace not slow not fast. He knew all thr good photo locations and took some great photos of me. He speaks English very clearly and I could understand 100% of what he said all the time. He made good use of his book with pictures as well.   I'm very happy   If I was his boss I would give him a promotion.
