The best private tour experience I had so far travelling in China! Tour guide, QiuyanLi, was doing all possible to make my short 2-days trip full of new experiences and emotions! She shared a lot of interesting facts about the region, local culture and traditions of minorities, even helped to communciate with them. I really enjoyed Li River cruise and QiuyanLi helped me to capture best moments including famous '20 yuan' photo. I would also highly recommend everyone to visit Longji rice terrace. For me, as foreigner it was first time to see rice terrace and I was really impressed. QiuyanLi gave me a lesson on how to grow rice and build rice field, now feel myself almost an expert :).

Planned for our trip to Guilin this year and decided to book a day tour. Found out about JS Tour from a close friend. It was indeed a very good service from them. We went for the Li River Cruises since it's one of the top destination to visit in Guilin. Overall we are really satisfied with the service.

We loved the whole trip with our great German speaking guide Julia. Just the three off us wandering through the fields and enjoying the magnificent scenery. Another highlight was the lunch prepared for us by a local farmer family, very friendly people and delicious food prepared from fresh ingredients. Overall, a great day out.

Being a small group of friends with children (aged between 4 and 10) we tailored the trip to our wishes. Since the very first moment we arrived, our tour guide Fei was always helpful and kind to solve our doubts. She was patience to keep our pace and willing to change the itinerary when we requested. In our first day we visited Guilin and that same night we transfered to our hotel in Yangshuo where we stayed for 4 nights. The other 3 days we visited natural spaces: rice field terraces, Gudong waterfall (you must do the climbing! it's so much fun especially for children), Big Banyan tree and bamboo rafting. We loved Karst mountains and the landscape! Despite the difficult roads at some points, drier Liu was very skilled and careful. Big thanks to both of them: Driver Liu and Guide Fei!!!

This tour is good if you have a short time in Beijing and want to tick these three off in a fairly 'hands-off' tour style. We were taken to a pearl shop and chinese medicine school but were in no way pressured to buy anything (and the foot massage was lovely - worth the 5 cny for sure)

Anna took very good care of me. She was caring, respectful and fun. We had a wonderful time biking along the Yulong River and seeing the sights. She was an outstanding guide and I would recommend her as a guide. She spoke very good English. We had a great day together.

The show was impressive and enjoyable; a great combination of music and pageantry. Miss Lily and the organization that helped us with the tickets were very accommodating. They met us at the gate, walked us to our seats, even had rain coats for us (but thankfully it didn’t rain!) We recommended the experience for sure!

The reason we selected this Tour was primarily because of all the incredible offerings and inclusions it offered in one day. From the moment our Tour was confirmed on Viator, Mr. Wu [Tom], our Tour Organiser and Private Guide, remained in constant touch with us, ready at hand to answer all queries via email, until our arrival into Yangshuo. Our Tour began with a scenic drive via country roads until we reached the authetic Li River bamboo rafts departure pier. The day we took the Tour the weather was a little misty, giving the spectacular Karst landscapes that we saw during our almost hour long exciting Li River bamboo raft journey, a mystical look. After our raft ride, we headed straight for the jaw dropping Silver Cave. To say the stalactites and stalagmites we were treated to during our 90 minute walk through the enormous cave were mind boggling, would be an understatement! The walking path through the cave is well lit and made slip proof. There are no restrictions on how close you can go to the rock formations to take photos, of course discretion is advised. The stalactites and stalagmites are lit up throughout the cave in different colours, giving viewers a surprise at every turn. There are also unique formations called by different names, based on the visions that they can conjure up. Tickets include a free audio guide. Palanquin bearers can be hired at an extra charge for those who are mobility impared. After touring the cave, sampling divine street food [yam, hot chestnuts, seasonal fruits, etc.] from vendors lining the path to the Cave and shopping for souvenirs, it was off to the pedestrian West Street for a leisurely stroll. West Street which is lined with many vendors offering local merchandise, tea, food, snacks, etc. ends at the Li River bank. It was there that Tom arranged for us to take photos with a cormorant fisherman for a small fee. We could take as many photos as we wanted, much to the delight of our teenage daughters. Later it was onwards to Xianggong Mountain just before sunset. The drive itself through mountain roads with hills covered in persimmons was very exciting and made even better by Tom who told us the stories of the ancient Karst landscapes and rural life in Yangshuo. The climb up the mountain took almost 45 minutes each way but the view that awaited us at the top, took our breath away. Row after row and mile after mile of Karst mountains we could behold, with the Li River snaking through them. We loved it on the mountain so much that it took Tom a lot of convincing to make us go back down. He was very helpful in taking our photographs and assisting us up and down the Mountain. The climb has many steps and can be difficult for those who are mobility impared. When we came down the mountain, the sun had just set, making the steps dark in some parts, however, Tom was well equipped with a torchlight and an out stretched arm for any of us who needed assistance. Just before returning to our hotel, we were taken to a many centuries old home of an elderly couple. The man of the house was a descendant of a military commander who served with one of China's Emperors. To say they live in a unique abode, would be an understatement. Their house looks as if it is many centuries old, their way of life, untouched by modernity. They also had their coffins readied and tucked away in one room, in case of an eventuality! With Tom's brilliant explanations, the house and its occupants were brough to life for us. The day ended with us thanking Tom for ensuring our family had such an amazing New Year's Eve. We knew of course nothing would have been possible without him. Yangshuo lies to the southeast of Guilin and in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Since being introduced by 'Lonely Planet' in 1980, it greets an increasing number of visitors annually. The rippling Li River traverses the county and brings it breath-taking natural beauty. The county is regarded as one of the most beautiful counties in China and the local scenery is the essence of Guilin. It is also the termination of a Li River cruise. The Longsheng Rice Terraces (Dragon's Backbone), also called the Longji Rice Terraces are located in Longsheng County, about 130 kilometres from Guilin. The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between 600 to 800 metres. The terraced fields were mostly built about 650 years ago.

+ Started in the morning from chengdu, visited the giant Buddha by using the boats. Chilled walkthrough in some hidden streets and end of the day harvested some green tea and learned how to cook and dry. It was a really nice experience to see in detail how to win tea and talk directly to the farmer about their business and the learn about their life story. Our Tourguide Sheldon was very young but shared a lot of facts during the hole trip. He was friendly and helpfully by everything. So we really enjoyed just to follow him and not to care about driving, paying or organizing something what can be easily a bit stressfully in china. -I am only a bit disappointed that we still have 130 air pollution values. Thought will be better outside from Chengdu
