Things to do in London, England: The Best Spas & Wellness

February 21, 2022 Brandee Mangan

The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

We had a great time, the spa was spotless and the temperature of the indoors pool was perfect, the therapist was very nice, explained our choices and her reassured that I was happy with the pressure , my friend was very happy too. The afternoon tea was amazing , the staff members very professional and we liked the little touches. You have been amazing with always reply back promptly and very helpful too.

Aman Spa

Beneath the ornate Edwardian lobby of The Connaught lies a portal from England to the East. The Aman Spa is an oasis of tranquillity that reflects the hotel’s inimitable style and Aman Resorts Asian inspired aesthetic. Five low-lit treatment rooms (one double and four single) feature a treatment area, private dressing area and shower. In addition to its five luxurious low-lit treatment rooms, the spa features a cascading granite water wall in a subtly-lit 60 square metre vitality-pool, and fitness studio with the very latest in Technogym equipment. At the heart of our menu are our signature journeys that reflect the traditional rituals of renewal from around the world: • From India, a Chakra balancing treatment where a subtle meditative practice is used to release emotional tension • From Thailand, a unique massage and herbal compresses are used to release deep seated muscular tension • From China, a restorative treatment that improves the body’s QI or energy • From North America, a sage and cedar wood smudging followed by a grounding hot river stone massage, used to turn over a new leaf All our treatments are drawn from these four journeys. We invite you to book by time for a personalised session ranging from 1 hr – 2 hrs 30mins.
