Worth the climb for the superb view and be sure to also visit the lovely little station where the “Hogwart’s Express” puffs it’s way through four times a day.

Commando Monument

Reviewed By btuce47 - Murton, United Kingdom

Diane & I fortunately opted to curtail time spent in (rather disappointing) Ft William in favour of a visit here during a National Holidays excursion and were glad we did - the weather was just perfect, crisp & clear with panoramic views of snow-capped hills, including Ben Nevis. A fitting tribute to brave men..........

Bonnie Prince Charlie Monument

Reviewed By darlao2015 - California, United States

We visited here on a very rainy day, as we walked towards the monument there was a bit of a clearing. It made for an even more dramatic view. There is a small parking lot that you will need to pay to park. A gift shop is located at the base of the parking, you can get more information about the history of the monument. I was truly moved being able to stand where there was so much history made. This is where the Bonnie Prince Charlie starting planning the last Scottish Jacobite uprising, ending of course at Culloden. I would highly recommend making a visit to Glenfinnan to this see this amazing place!!

Statue of Donald Cameron

Reviewed By amfh - The Colony, United States

I saw that Poor old Mr. Cameron's statue had only one review, so I wanted to give him his due and add a few words of appreciation for his contributions to his clan and community. The statue is in the square (or Parade?) in Fort William, Scotland, near Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK. He stands proudly as well he should.

Peace Memorial

Reviewed By Y8837LLgabriela - Ploiesti, Romania

Peace Memorial, or Fort William Peace Cairn is a shrine, in fact the belltower of an old Church. The monument was inaugurated in March, 23-th, 1985, and remember the times of the World War II.
