A private burial ground, open to the public to visit, and in a beautiful setting. My MacDonald ancestors, Angus and Sarah MacDonald are buried here as are my great-aunt Ann Winifred and cousin Alastair Macdonald Watson RNVR who commanded MGBs and MTBs in the Second World War.

Having established a residence in Morar, and conscious of his tenants moving westward, Simon Lord Lovat decided that the time had come to provide 'a more suitable place of worship than the former inconvenient and unsightly chapel at Bracara.' The site he chose lay at the foot of Cruach Bheoraid looking across to the islands.

Situated on the main street of Fort William this delightful little church set in a lovely garden is well worth fifteen minutes of your time. The inside just makes you feel welcome into the house of God with its warmth and such lovely alter and beautiful stone work of the surrounding walls.

Nestled on the hill overlooking Loch Shiel and the Glenfinnan monument this beautiful church is well worth a visit. Recently restored to a very high standard. Parking is available and a short walk gives access to the church and views beyond.
