Come along and visit Mungo Lils on the hill, Cornish gallery and giftshop. Take home your very own taste of The Lizard Point, Cornwall.
This is a must visit gift shop! We visit several times every time we are on holiday in Cornwall. During covid lockdowns, I have also bought from them through their Facebook/Instagram pages. Nothing is too much effort for this team and they send over details of any products you are interested in, always replying promptly and once items are purchased, they are always received within days in the post. The glass artwork is absolutely stunning, and obviously the glass ‘Bob’! Well done and thank you for adapting your business during covid so that we can still purchase your items for special celebration gifts from the other end of the country!

With the help of a generous grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Trinity House renovated the Engine Room at Lizard Lighthouse, retaining some of the old engines. It now also features new exhibition material, an audio visual room and a number of interactive displays. The Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre was officially opened in 2009 by HRH The Princess Royal. The distinctive twin towers of Lizard Lighthouse mark the most southerly point of mainland Britain. See displays depicting Trinity House's history, housed in the original engine room. It was commissioned in 1752. For over 250 years, the lighthouse has provided a welcoming landfall light to vessels crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Tours of Lizard Lighthouse are organised under licence from the Corporation of Trinity House.
We decided to visit the lizard lighthouse and what a fantastic day out it was. The exhibition hall was great with plenty to do and to read. And plenty of games and fun for children. We done the guided tour of the lighthouse tower with Caroline who has been a lighthouse keeper at the station since 2007 she could answer any questions I had and more everything about the tour was in-depth and well explained. Definitely worth a visit. Cheap day out and loads to do.

Trevena Cross is a nursery and garden centre based in West Cornwall. We have extensive undercover (and outdoor) space dedicated to the huge variety of fabulous plants, which we don’t just sell across the three acre garden centre, but grow ourselves, across 32 acres of nursery, also on the site. For those less ‘green fingered’, there is also a large gift department – one of the biggest in West Cornwall – full of beautiful things for the home, special friends, family, and little ones, as well as the The Garden Kitchen Cafe – the perfect place to stop and refuel with a cuppa, meal or naughty treat!
Love coming here, loads of options on the menu and lovely staff! Quite an open space and lovely atmosphere:)
